18 years ago today, Mother Teresa passed away. She was 87 years old.

Less than two weeks ago I posted 15 Mother Teresa quotes to cultivate love and compassion to commemorate the anniversary of her birth.

Even though she is gone, her legacy continues to touch countless lives. And while the work being done to alleviate suffering and poverty is incredibly important, I believe she would really want us to honour her by putting love into action right where we are in simple ways. Here are 12 quotes, beautifully compiled by my team (Thank you Melanie!) to help each of us extend Mother Teresa’s legacy into our daily lives.

Enjoy!
